Elinor Ann Walker holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and prefers to write outside. Her poetry has appeared recently or is forthcoming in AGNI, Bayou Magazine, Nimrod International Journal, The Penn Review, Pirene's Fountain, Plume, Poet Lore, The Shore, The Southern Review, SWING, Terrain.org, The Vassar Review, and elsewhere; her work also has been featured on Verse Daily and in several anthologies. Her first full-length poetry manuscript is a three-time semifinalist and two-time finalist for recent prizes and remains under consideration at various presses.
