Jody Gladding
Jody Gladding lives in East Calais, Vermont where her work explores the places that landscape and language converge. As a poet, she has experimented with form, on and off the page, freeing the poem from linear and narrative constraints to take on a life of its own. That project has resulted in five poetry collections, most recently I entered without words (Princeton Contemporary Poets Series, 2022). Gladding makes her living as a French translator. She has won numerous awards for both her poetry and her translations, and taught for many years in the Vermont College of Fine Arts MFA Program.
